Feb 20,2023 | Bond

In Dec 2015, we received an inquiry from the USA.

Hello, we are a pet company, and now we have a moisture problem. Our cat tree is moldy in the warehouse. We tried adding silica gel desiccant to the cat tree, but it barely worked. Do you have a more effective desiccant?

The cat tree is furniture for cats to play, exercise, relax and sleep on, also referred to as a cat tree house, cat condo, kitty condo, cat stand, catbox, or cat tower. Cat trees vary in height and complexity, with most cats preferring features offering height place, particularly if tall enough to allow a clear survey of their territory. Some cats prefer options that provide shelter or a secluded escape, and cat trees are usually made of wood.

Our product expert asked the customer about their products, as shown in the picture below, their products are mainly made of wood and wrapped with silver velvet on the outside, these materials tend to receive too much moisture, and the desiccant he added before, the dosage could not reach the requirement, of course, it could not play the effect of anti-mold and anti-damp.

After further communication, our product experts quickly identified the problem. The cat tree is a large piece of wooden furniture, so a small bag of silica gel desiccant would not solve the problem. Our product experts recommended our high-performance desiccant to the customer. It is a calcium chloride desiccant with a moisture absorption rate of 300%. In addition, we use double-layer packaging to ensure that it does not leak after absorbing moisture.

We built a lasting satisfying collaboration from this solution.

If you have similar needs, please get in touch with us, and we will customize the moisture absorber solution to meet your specific requirements.
